Exercise Mistakes Women Make

I thought I would share some of the common exercise mistakes women make. Yes I know that everyone tends to make excuses when it come to burning fat and losing weight; and when we first set our goals and begin our journey it seems that we are highly motivated. As time goes on we tend to find all kinds of reasons not to exercise.

If you are serious about burning fat and getting into shape; then you have to avoid the exercise mistakes that women make and keep working towards your goals.

No Plan: We all know that today’s women stay very busy with family and other obligations. Therefore if you do not have a plan that will help you implement your daily exercise program; chances are you will not see the results that you want to see. It will be a lot easier to come up with excuses about why you do not have time to exercise or how it does not fit into your daily schedule.

Competitive: Women are really good for this; they try to compete with other women in the gym or try to compare themselves with them as well. This is a surefire way to quit working towards your goals; there is always going to be someone who is in better shape than you are. We all know that people begin exercising at different points in their lives; therefore everyone is on a different path and you should never compare yourself with anyone else.

Starving Yourself: Another “no no” that a lot of women do is try to starve themselves in hope of losing the weight that they want to. While it is important that you begin learning how to eat the right types of food; you never want your body to go into starvation mode.

Fad Diets: A lot of women that I have talked to have at least attempted on “fad diet” in order to lose weight. We all wish that we could lose the fat and build the muscle the easy way; however without the willingness to do what it takes chances are you will not see the results that you want to see.
