Toning Up VS Building Muscle In Women

When you ask any woman who is at a gym they will most likely just tell you that they are trying to get a toned body. Most women do not want to build their muscles to the extreme; so that they become stronger than their husband or boyfriends. In fact most women will not be caught lifting weights because we tend to feel that men will not be interested in a woman who wants to build muscle.

First of all there is nothing wrong with trying to build muscle in a woman and we all have to know that in order to tone our muscles we all need to realize that some of the exercises are going to require that we lift weights to define our bodies.

Now I am not saying that you have to bench press 300 pounds so that you can define your body. However when you begin understanding that building muscle in a woman can be sexy. Most men love a women who has some muscle on their body. Not to mention that lifting weights in our exercise regime can prevent our bodies from getting diagnosed with some of the illness such as osteoporosis.

Once you begin understanding that weight lifting is going to help you build the muscles in your body and increase your metabolism then you are going to understand why it is important to begin adding weights to our daily exercise.

You do not have to be worried that just because you begin lifting weights; that you are going to begin building a lot of muscles on your body. Women do not build muscle as easily as men do; and if you did put on a lot of muscles on your body then you would have to work with very heavy weights to influence your body.

If you want to begin feeling better about the way you look in a bathing suit or just in general then begin adding weights to your daily workouts and you will notice how toning up your body and gaining some muscle will help you improve the muscle tone and overall appearance of the way you look and feel.
